Environmental management services: Environmental inspections

Environmental inspections Environmental inspections were undertaken of one hundred and sixty (160) sites located throughout the Atlantic provinces. Information was collected regarding the presence and condition of hazardous materials, and site data were recorded with in relation to petroleum storage tanks and electrical generator configurations. In excess of two hundred (200) above and below ground petroleum storage tanks were inspected, and a rating scale was developed to assist in prioritizing upgrades and assigning potential risks. Consulting and engineering services were provided to assist in the in development of corporate standards for petroleum storage. The information was sorted and presented in electronic spreadsheets accompanied by detailed text reports and CAD drawings. Budget figures were also prepared to meet upgrade requirements, and for recommended remedial action.
