Pinchin LeBlanc is currently seeking a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant for our head office in Dartmouth, NS. This position is responsible for a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to, front desk telephone reception, greeting visitors, preparing meeting rooms, ordering office supplies, data entry, preparing packages and scheduling couriers, receiving and sorting mail, receiving lab samples, corresponding with office service providers/suppliers (cleaners, coffee, etc.), coordinating meetings and company events, and other administrative tasks.
This is a fast paced position requiring a pleasant, helpful demeanor, excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, above average organizational skills, along with the ability to work independently at the front desk and as a member of the Administration team. The successful candidate will possess a community college level diploma in office administration or a related field or comparable experience in similar roles. Proficiency with MS Office is required, experience with entering data into an accounting software is an asset. Experience in a project-driven, professional services organization would be considered a strength.
