Project Manager – Dartmouth, NS

Pinchin LeBlanc Environmental Limited is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Assessment and Remediation team in Dartmouth, NS. The ideal candidate will have an environmental related technology diploma or degree, supported by a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager combined with several years of progressive field experience conducting some or all of the following:

  • Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and Environmental Remediation including contractor supervision and soil, groundwater and surface water collection following recognized industry standard protocols;
  • Preparation of technical reports detailing the findings and recommendations of on-site inspections.
  • Providing project coordination and support for Project Managers in the Assessment and Remediation Group.
  • Additional experience performing hazardous building material and indoor air quality/Occupational Hygiene assessments, on-site inspection during abatement and demolition/deconstruction projects, collection of air samples and PCM analysis is considered a definite asset.

The successful candidate will have experience in a professional services/consulting environment, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to effectively interact with property owners, contractors, regulatory agencies, and professionals. Solid project management and technical report writing skills would be required. This position will include a mix of field work and project management work, depending on workload and project/client requirements. Demonstrated project management training is an asset and additional ‘in-house’ training will be provided as necessary.

This position will require occasional travel (air, car, boat) throughout Atlantic Canada.
