Financial Administrator – Dartmouth, NS


Pinchin LeBlanc is currently seeking a full time Financial Administrator to work from our Dartmouth, NS location. Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor and Vice President, Finance, this position will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting tasks including, but not limited to, bank reconciliations, cash receipts/disbursements, supplier statement reconciliations, all aspects of project accounting from budget entry to invoicing, accounts receivable and other detailed analyses prepared in Excel.  Our Finance team members are trained in most aspects of the daily accounting and reporting requirements of the company making it possible to support each other during busy periods, vacations and so on.

This is a fast paced, challenging position requiring above average organizational and prioritization skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization as well as clients and the ability to blend well with an established team. The ideal candidate will possess a university degree with a major in accounting, a mature, professional approach and 5+ years’ experience in progressive accounting positions.  Proficiency with ACCPAC or similar accounting software is a necessity. Experience in a project-driven, consulting organization would be considered an asset.

Pinchin LeBlanc has offices across Atlantic Canada, occasional travel to Newfoundland and New Brunswick may be required. Overtime may be required during busy periods, however, staff are appropriately compensated.
